Karen Borg joins Healthdirect Australia as Chief Executive Officer

Healthdirect Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Borg to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Karen brings international, multi-sector experience to the role in which she will work with the governments of Australia to deliver health services that aim to reduce demand on primary health services and improve health outcomes for Australians.

Prior to joining Healthdirect Australia, Karen was the inaugural CEO of Jobs for NSW, where she led a
combined private/public sector team that redesigned government support for private enterprise.
Karen has worked with healthcare, FMCG, government, luxury goods and retail in FTSE100-250 companies. She has led organisational transformation and growth in emerging and mature markets in Asia/Pacific, the USA and Europe.
Karen was previously President Asia Pacific at ResMed, and Global Vice President at Johnson & Johnson, based in the USA. She has worked for Revlon in Eastern Europe, Seagram in Russia, Goodman Fielder in Australia and Taiwan and Nestle in Australia. Karen is a past member of the NSW Export Advisory Council.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney and was a NSW finalist for Telstra Businesswoman of the Year 2017.
