Pregnancy, Birth and Baby infographics support new and expecting parents

The Pregnancy, Birth and Baby website has recently added infographic checklists and guides on a range of topics relating to pregnancy, babies and parenting.
The series of 13 infographics is based on information available on the website, which has been simplified and shortened to create easily-understood visual guides.
The infographics have been developed in accordance with Healthdirect Australia’s Clinical Governance Framework.

Distributed via social media, the most popular infographic topics have been the Guide to food and drink during pregnancy, What to take to hospital checklist, How your baby learns and develops and Setting up a nursery.
The infographics have proven very popular and more topics are added to the existing collection regularly. Designed in A4 format, they are available to download and print from the website so they can be used as a helpful reference on the fridge, shared with friends and family or used in medical centres.
Pregnancy, Birth and Baby supports expecting parents, and families with children aged up to five years, by providing a range of trusted health information and practical advice. In addition to the website, a Pregnancy, Birth and Baby helpline is staffed by child and maternal health nurses.
