Tender for the provision of the Get Healthy service issued

A Request for Tender (RFT) for the provision of the Get Healthy service has been issued by Healthdirect Australia on Monday the 2nd of September.

The NSW Get Healthy Information and Coaching Service (GHS) was launched by NSW Health in February 2009 and is a flagship obesity prevention program that makes a significant contribution to the NSW State Plan 2021 goal of "Keeping people healthy and out of hospital".

NSW committed to deliver the GHS as part of the National Partnership Agreement on Preventive Health.

The current contract for the provision of the Service comes to an end on the 31st December 2013. It is intended that the Service will continue without interruption with the new contract commencing on the 1st January 2014.
