In our recently-released Annual Report for FY24, we announced Healthdirect Australia had 85.5 million interactions with the community across its services, which include healthdirect, My Aged Care, Pregnancy, Birth and Baby and Head to Health.
Last financial year, there continued to be strong demand for trusted health information and advice across digital channels, with 47.4 million visits to websites, 1.2 million searches of the healthdirect Service Finder per month, and nearly two million uses of the online healthdirect Symptom Checker.
In this edition of our newsletter we showcase recent enhancements to the healthdirect Symptom Checker — including AI and broader connectivity to the health system. These enhancements have strengthened the self-help tool and its ability to help consumers to know what to do next.
